Overview

Cadence Coffee is an athletic themed coffee cart tricycle fitted with an espresso machine. We primarily make espresso based drinks like lattes, mochas and cappuccinos.

The business is a start up created by Nathan Kwan who is a Davis resident, high school science teacher, endurance athlete, UC Davis alum, and coffee lover.

The tricycle cart is ridden to local events to serve anyone who would like a beverage.

Mission

Support Through Caffeine: Whether coffee is part of your routine, a form of social connection, or a performance boost, Cadence Coffee is there to support you.

Accessibility: Drinking a cup of coffee can bring people together before, during, or after activities. However, coffee has seen some higher prices in recent times. We want more people to enjoy drinking coffee, so we aim to bring the coffee to you, keep the prices low and the process simple.

Sustainability: We aim to minimize our impact on the environment by:

• Purchasing our beans locally

• Using compostable cups, lids, and sleeves, preparing

• Planning and preparing an amount of coffee grounds to minimize waste

• Using oat milk

• Moving the cart by pedal power!

Quality: All of our drinks are made from quality beans freshly ground the morning of service. When you order your drink, ingredients are measured for your drink and prepared with care to achieve great flavor and texture.
